Linux APT Bug Exposes Root, Zyxel Zero-Day Leaks Credentials, French Blood Sites Hacked

An APT flaw lets an on-path attacker install unverified packages and run code as root on Debian and Ubuntu. A Zyxel GS1900 zero-day hit 996 switches across 48 countries, exposing root credentials. Blood storage rooms at France's EFS hit 110 degrees Celsius after an attack that came through refrigeration provider Cool World. A DigiCert misconfiguration exposed archived customer contact details and identity documents. Hackers stole DreamHost customer login details through a file manager flaw. And mobile exploits stole cookies from iOS 16.7 phones and hit Android phones running Chrome 139 through 145.
